Depends on the scoring... I don't think either are crazy picks if you get 6 pts for a TD pass and who knows Cam could blow up and throw for 30 and run in 10. Who are the QB's you think should be picked ahead of him? Brees and Rodgers and???

Meh.. would have to be a fairly extravagant scoring system. . Something where TD's not in your standard category are like double points. .I.e.; passing/receiving TD's for RB's, rushing/ receiving TD's for QB's, and passing/rushing TD's for WR's/TE's.. otherwise, the only other reasoning I'd but is that the guy is a big Panther/Auburn fan and just had to have his guy. I'll defend Cam as a top 5 guy all day, even though he's not in my top 5, he really had that ability. But before Brees and Rodgers? Those are about the only 2 reasons I'd buy.

That wild explain multiple qb's in the first round, and Cam in the second. . But not Cam as the second QB. The rankings are still the same in 2 QB leagues, its just the depth, or bottom end end options, who become twice as valuable.

1st- Lesean McCoy
2nd-Brandon Marshall
3rd- Montee Ball
4th- Leveon Bell

Actually, no. Cam's value is maximized in leagues were passing TDs are worth less. In 6 point passing TD leagues, I will take Brees and his 40 all day over Cam's rushing totals. Running QBs are worth less if all TDs count for 6 because Cam's rushing TD counts the same as the passing TD from Brees.

That is silly. Thing is, in a 10 team league, those guys will be totally irrelevant. I bet there will be a couple other really strong teams though also, given some of the ludicrous picks.

Ya. .. As we've been attempting to drive home with fellow poster, Brees, that's why the majority of us put no real stock into those ESPN leagues. There's always too many auto drafters, or even worse, people just in there screwing around or trying weird strategies. Don't get me wrong, they're fun, I annually use up my allotment of teams, but it's unrealistic to expect any useful info from them to use in real competitive leagues.

You mean you guys won't let me draft a team like that in the MBBRL? Seriously, I've only played in 2 10 teamers, both with guys who never really played before and I didn't draft a team like that............well, last years was close I guess.

Peyton Manning #1 is actually brilliant (if you drafted last year). Maybe he thinks Luck's gonna be the second best QB and is angling to trade... but I'm not creative enough to explain why on earth somebody would take Cam 2nd, unless they're drafting with their kid who's a big fan.

I guess i'm just not one who goes by previous years stats. Brees isn't young anymore and is bound to get hurt or start slowing down at some point and if Cam throws 30 his value is just as good as Brees who throws 40 and there is less downside because hes not a little old man playing QB.
