It's cool in theory but not very practical.
How about Alabama facing Georgia just once in a season? That possible or is it still a once in a decade thing?
we have done it twice against Fsu.. 94 and 96Had a "what if" conversation today with a friend about the Big12 this year and wondered how OU and Texas fans would like playing that one twice in the same year should things fall in place. My guess is they would enjoy it because they would have a decent amount of time between RRS and CCG but perhaps I'm wrong.
What if other conferences were set up like we are now and say..
Michigan had to play Ohio State or Bama played Auburn ect. and then had to play again in the CCG?
Would you want that rival game date moved to say early October or maybe game 1or 2 or keep it the same and go back to back weeks?
Like the idea? hate it?
Just curious,

in 94 we tied them during regular season lost to them in Sugar bowl 23-17. .. in 96 won both games and a NC
Yes, because who knows what happens in any given matchup; see OU vs. Boise. Florida never should have been there.Even after it was proven that neither Ohio State or Michigan had any business near that National Title game?

A defeated Michigan team that got snubbed by the BCS and had to play USC in California beat Michigan by 14 points.Florida saved us from thinking the big ten was good that season. Well, USC did also.

Then Florida wasn't because they got beat by Auburn, is that how we're playing this game? Michigan didn't play in the national title game, so we don't know how it would have turned out.Wow, you're serious with these excuses aren't you? Even though it was proven on a football field that ohio state and Michigan weren't the best teams, you're sticking with this?
Snubbed? You lost your last game of the season. And are you seriously playing the "we didn't want to be there" card for the Rose Bowl?A defeated Michigan team that got snubbed by the BCS and had to play USC in California beat Michigan by 14 points.
We were a 1 loss team that barely lost, away to the #1 team in the nation and got jumped by a team that also was a 1 loss team, and lost to that team just finished inside the top 10 to end the season. And the only reason Florida jumped us is because they got to play an extra game that the B10 didn't have at that point in time.Snubbed? You lost your last game of the season. No, it was proven that Michigan lost to USC.I get that, but on a football field it was proven that Michigan didn't belong, and that ohio state was over hyped. Basically the BCS saved us from a sham title game.
tOSU didnt play in that game either. Then Florida wasn't because they got beat by Auburn, is that how we're playing this game? Michigan didn't play in the national title game, so we don't know how it would have turned out.
