The 9ers DL is not at issue at the moment really so it would be a hard sell pick him unless he fell and even then still but one never knows.

In that event, look at UW again and I love Hau'oli Kikaha. An animal, though I think Shelton fits that young BJ Raji mold.

if that is the guy, fine with me. he didn't play THAT well against Hawaii, but know he's played better since.

not totally against an NT round 1, but have a hard time seeing value? nowadays, they only play 33% of the D snaps, so doesn't make sense to me. I said the same thing with Ward, granted don't think he'll be a NB his entire career.

DO like the idea of stopping the run and know it starts with NT, but for 1/3 the snaps we can get one round 2.

Im a fan as best Available at the time of the pick but it might be time to draft because of need. We need 3-4 DT/CB/Guard/Center or MLB(for depth, maybe not with the 1st pick). I would be ok with any of those positions.

I don't know who the guy you mentioned is but I agree that the D Line, and specifically the pass rush, is the key to improvement.
