temperature never drops below 32 degrees, so snowflakes like Buckeye fans would melt if they entered.
What will they have to pay? I’m betting the Big 12 would pick some of it up.Can't imagine Nebraska will pay the financial amount necessary to sever itself from the BigTen.

Also, LOL if you have financial penalties for leaving a conference. In the SEC you are free to go and don’t have to pay a dime.
Who knows. If Nebraska was serious (and I don’t think they are) they could counter with a breach of contract for the B1G canceling the season. Don’t know if it would work but it’s a pretty damn big deal what the B1G did.The BigTen owns Nebraska's media rights. I can't imagine the BigTen just giving that up before 2024.

We both know it will be canceled but regardless they could wait until it was for sure. I don’t see anyway they can play in Spring.Season wasn't canceled, it was postponed.

Why not?
1. Top players will opt out due to the NFL season. Even Urban Meyer agreed it wasn’t possible to play twice in one calendar year. Why not?
These are my two thoughts I why spring will eventually be scrapped too:
* Football in the north and midwest in the winter and early spring. All the stadiums are outside
* Loss of many of the best players from the conference due to the draft.

2. There are going to be a lot of kids that just quit or fail out.
3. We are about to see a big rise in player arrest issues.
4. Non P5 schools are going to start dropping programs or at least lay-off people like crazy.
5. If the SEC, ACC and PAC play in the fall that will be the real CFB season.
This is a serious issue.
They will still have plenty of players to field rosters.
January 1st would be rough, but a March 1 start date would be fine.

I meant Big 12.The PAC already postponed.
If they cancel the season and other teams play then it’s a very strong argument that they did.Is it a breach of contract?
It would be interesting to see what is in the contract with this as other conferences have no bearing on the decision nor the contract. If they cancel the season and other teams play then it’s a very strong argument that they did.
There's probably a lot of language in the agreements these teams have with their conferences that mitigate this kind of thing. I can't imagine the league would have gone ahead with the suspension of athletics if they thought any member schools would have any kind of legal leg to stand on in opposition. If they cancel the season and other teams play then it’s a very strong argument that they did.
