I don't know where our 2 victories were in 2004, but Patrick Willis wasn't even on the team for any of our 2 win seasons (once since 1979). That's 9 seasons ago, man. NINE. :) Your memory... just kidding. We all lose it sometimes. The trouble with memory is that you forget where you put it sometimes.

Happens to me a lot these days. But you don't remember Willis running down a wide receiver from behind with his cast on and the AZ kicker missing the game-winning FG attempt? It was huge news.

I do, but that was nowhere near 2004 and nowhere near a two win season - we won 6 games - not good, but better than that. He injured himself in 2007, 2010, and now 2013. So, it had to be 2010, obviously.

The point was to show that Willis can play with a cast, not how many games they won.

Yeah, I got the point. I was talking about your response in regards to wins to threelittlebirds response to your reference to the number of wins...

That is certainly a mouthful. Good thing you wrote it instead of speaking it.

Oh it was definitely his rookie season in 07. It essentially put the NFL on notice that there was a lb in SF that could keep up with anyone. And if I remember correctly, he marked that year with several 20 tackle games.

And yes, he did it with a cast on. It was in Arizona that year.

That's my humor, though I usually add a " ;) " to it so people know I'm joking.

Just like the Spurs try to win only in odd years, Willis wants to wear the cast every third season - 2007. 2010, 2013 perhaps. ;)

Looks like, at least in this case, Singletary knew what he was doing.

Here it is, at the 2:19 mark. Yes, 2007 season.
