thats not enough imo we drafted mallett in the 3rd so we basically trading him for an extra 3rd thats nearly a comp pick. although cleveland 3rds are high picks in the round. i dont think bb would trade him for lower than a 2nd.

I don't two early round thirds with our third gives BB the type of leverage he likes. And he has nailed some 3rd round picks in years past.

Mallett is staying with the Patriots. Would be nice to get picks but I just don't see that happening. IF they do it I would not be surprised if BB trades those picks away.

But why would the Browns take Mallet when they could get a QB is this years draft? There is what like 8-10 QBs that have declared

Because Josh knows the skill sets on Mallett I think all this is based on the theory that it will be a package deal Josh and Ryan to the Browns.

Considering they used a 3rd to draft him, 26 would an awesome ROI and two 3rds would double their investment.

I'd be extremely happy with either deal.

What they ultimately get for the picks is another story to be evaluated.
