Where do we go from here?

Got our ass kicked by a better team so what do we do now?

IMO just a brief summary of what I think needs to happen.

1) RE-SIGN LEBRON

2) If Bosh/Wade come back they must take a pay cut. They do not deserve to be paid as much as Lebron

3) Improve the bench big time

4) Draft a PG and get younger/more athletic in the offseason

I honestly have no clue.

The reason why he may come back is because the roster won't look nearly the same as it did tonight. Lots of players will be leaving due to free agency.

Obviously if they get Carmelo, he'll stay. But I can't see Carmelo taking a back seat to LeBron.

I think all three opt in for obese more year unless they all talk and want to make a run in which case, they opt out and sign long term deals with Wade and Bosh taking much less. We will look very different. Battier will be gone. Chalmers has likely played his last time with Miami barring his inability to get a better deal elsewhere. I think Lewis is gone and Oden and Beasley not back. We have a first rounder which will be good. However, the Key to the Heat based on Lebron.

Beasley gives and takes away. His defense was as bad as his offense was good. That plus the five second call is why Beasley will sign for a few million elsewhere unless he wants to give the Heat a huge discount.

You know, I just don't see LeBron leaving. I think he re-signs with the Heat and Pat Riley re-tools the roster to get better. They may add Carmelo and perhaps Pau Gasol but I do think the D. Wade will retire along with Battier and possibly Ray Allen. I think the Heat will return to the Finals faster than most people think.
