He really didn't. He saved Fisher's job. Was playing better than guys like Cutler (who got traded for multiple high picks) and then never really was given another real shot.

He'd still be overrated as hell and he has the luckiest play in NFL postseason history, the Music City Miracle. To thank for getting as close as he did in the first place.

Music City Miracle was a spectacularly drawn up and well coached play.

He's still vastly overrated, I agree. But about once a year he hits my Seahawks with one of these great special teams plays. So since he seems to consistently do it, I can't call it luck.
