Female characters on Game of Thrones and Vikings are well written.

Also, the lead female character/police officer from Fargo was awesome. And I like Carol from The Walking Dead. Chloe from 24 rocked.

Because Skylar was a bitch and a hypocrite. I don't know if the writers did that on purpose but I was hoping Walter would have her killed the whole time.

Maggie Greene and Carol on TWD I think are good female characters, The female lead in Falling Skies is written well.

I think the worst was Carmella Soprano I hated every scene she was in. They wrote her like she had multiple personalities. Meadow was bad too but you gave her a pass because she was a teenager.

1) Noah Wiley is not a female (as much of a surprise as that may be).

2) He isn't written well.

Anne Glass she is the lead female in that show and I think her character is one of the better more likeable characters.

Dana Scully was a good co-star for Fox Mulder on the X-Files. Wasn't a huge fan of the last couple of seasons after Duchovny left the show and she took over his role of believer and a new buy was brought in to replace her as the skeptic but overall I thought she was a good character/

LOST and the Simpsons are 2 examples that come to mind where there were so many awesome male characters and so many uninteresting female characters. At least on the Simpsons the females would often set up the males to be funny. Mrs. K might have been the best female character but I believe her character died with her voice (don't really watch anymore). The best female character on LOST was probably Danielle Rousseau who only appeared in a recurring role.

As others have mentioned Game of Thrones probably has the best collection of female characters. Sansa Stark was probably the worst but there appears to be hope for her to become interesting. After 3 seasons Carol from Walking Dead evolved into a great character during the 4th, but the other females on that show aren't that interesting.

Perfect example of how not to write a female character.

Jenny from "The League" is my dream wife. If she was my wife/girlfriend, I'd never leave the house. We'd just stay home and play fantasy football and do it.

Pretty sure that sort of woman does not exist... Almost a 100% certainty.. The shit that she deals with from Kevin in the show would have gotten one of us killed in real life. But I agree... She's the perfect dream wife.

Jenny gets really goddamn annoying from a viewer standpoint.

But yeah, she would rock as wife.
