I would call it a partial failure, the Seahawks got the win but the Packers won the game they just got screwed by the replacement ref's. It was going to take a call like that for the ref's and NFL to work things out.

I would call it last season. Who cares if the Packers won in Seattle at the beginning of last season. The Seahawks are far better now than they were then.

Nothing worse than knowing you can win the next two games against 2 of the best teams in the entire NFL, finish the season 11-5 and still miss the playoffs. That my friends is a crime in itself.

What makes it even worse is Seattle won this division with a 7-9 record another crime.

They mentioned on the radio yesterday that there is talks of adding a seventh spot to the playoffs. This would cause the second seed team to have to play on that first weekend and give the #1 seed a true advantage. I personally believe that this is a way for the NFL to try and get 8 teams into the playoffs which is a slippery slope. I would not mind the change but it definitely opens the door for ambiguity.

It happens... obviously, it's unfair, but it happens... we knew going into this season that the NFC West was probably going to be the best in the NFL, and that has held true.

Cards just need to win. I think they are in if they win out. I don't think they will do that, but hoping to eat crow.

CAR or NO will lose this week. IF (giant "if") the Cards win, they'd be tied with one of them for a WC spot. CAR would be ideal, but even NO gives that last week of the season meaning.

I'm heading out to Charlotte to see the Panthers/Saints game...

70 degree weather... 90% chance of rain, and strong winds...

all signs point to a Panther Victory. Saints just aren't that good on the road, and you mix in the elements, against a team that is a good "mudder" team, and you've got a recipie for a loss.

Just my opinion, but Seattle got out played at home. No worries you guys will be going to the Super Bowl and the Cards wont even be in the playoffs.
