A player can give themself up. There is no need for downing by a defender. This happens almost every game in victory formation.

I’m pretty sure about some things as well.

Bolles will always be turrible.
IRman will always be slow
We are really desperate for some ILBs
On the other hand, I don’t think we’ll go all year without getting a sack.

On the positive side. I thought Flacco played well enough to win. Other than the critical INT.
Simmons had quite an active game.
Manny (sorry about the name, DC) looked like he is back following his off-season surgery.
Risner looks like the best OL we have. Two games into his career.

I’m more hopeful long term. Worried that my 7-9 prediction was too optimistic.

Agree with all of this.

Kareem Jackson has also played well the first two games I want to point out.

If Harris waits 2 seconds to touch him game over
Harris blew it

Not gonna point the finger at one person but I had same thought. Not like he needed to wait 5 seconds otherwise they’d have blown it dead. Easy to say from behind our TVs though so surely not gonna pin The loss on Harris who played pretty darn well.

I think fans are too caught up on who to place the blame on after a game. There are several reasons we lost this game.

We live in a society where we always wanna blame someone when the end result isn’t what we were hoping for.

Didn’t lose the game but had a chance to single handily win it

We can point to the refs in final drive all we want as why we lost but the bigger picture is this; we had more first downs, ran 20 more plays, more Time of Possession, Total Yards, and still needed a two point conversion at the end to take the lead. That kind of production should result in an easier win not a heartbreaking last second loss.

When you end up 3-13 on 3rd downs, commit 10 penalties, have 2 QB hits with 0 sacks, and 0 turnovers forced for the 2nd game on a row you’re not gonna win many games.

Sounds like Kareem Jackson was playing zone and the other DBs were playing man on the last play. Will know for sure on Tuesday. Just take one guy to mess up

I took three things out of this game.

1. Fangio made the right call on 4th down, and going for 2. I like the confidence and calm he displayed all game.
2. Flacco plays better than most gave him credit for.
3. We have a whiney ass fan base.

3. That’s any fanbase. This shouldn’t be a surprise. You will always have that.
