Nice to get to 8 wins. It’ll be too little to take it any further than next week, but certainly an improvement over last year.
That’s huge. So much work to do and a lot of uncertainty ahead. One game is one game, but Stidham turned in as good a performance as we could have expected from Wilson.A win next week and we finish over .500
AND
Over .500 vs the AFC West.
I thought the offense opened up a little with Stidham. I enjoyed seeing Stidham showing himself having fun playing football. That’s huge. So much work to do and a lot of uncertainty ahead. One game is one game, but Stidham turned in as good a performance as we could have expected from Wilson.
The offense opened up? Are you serious? They were mediocre at best.I thought the offense opened up a little with Stidham. I enjoyed seeing Stidham showing himself having fun playing football.
Take your trolling somewhere else. The offense opened up? Are you serious? They were mediocre at best.
Lol. Stidham is mediocre. He’s not the guy. He will always be a back-up.Take your trolling somewhere else.
Stidham played about the exact same as Russ did against LA despite missing Sutton #1 WR, Mims #3 WR, Trautman #1 TE, and McGlinchey #1 RT.
You are mediocre at best - so you should be attuned to that condition. The offense opened up? Are you serious? They were mediocre at best.
That's very likely true, but his line yesterday was as good as anything we got from Wilson. And at $5 million. Wilson is not worth his contract.Lol. Stidham is mediocre. He’s not the guy. He will always be a back-up.
The stat line didn't look a different so anyone who just looks at the box score isn't going to see a big difference. But the plays, routes, etc were closer to a Payton offense than what we had with Wilson. We're also at the bottom of our depth chart so realistically we shouldn't have expected 30+ points. At this stage in his career, Wilson is what he is. He isn't a good fit for Payton's system. Stidham may not be the long term answer and probably isn't. But he's a 4 year guy with just a few starts. So the likelihood he can grow into the system is probably greater than Wilson suddenly adapting his style of play. Next week will be an interesting game. And this off season will be another interesting one. I don't see the team not drafting a QB at this point. They definitely won't have the cap space to sign a FA who will be an upgrade over Wilson or Stidham. Stidham has a great opportunity to put some good film down and make a case for himself.I thought the offense opened up a little with Stidham. same production from a career backup as the $250M QB.The offense opened up? Are you serious? They were mediocre at best.
He played against one of the weakest teams in the NFL. The chargers are horrible and Denver pulled out a very unimpressive win.same production from a career backup as the $250M QB.
I didn’t watch the game.
So what? Was it an exciting game played by two quality teams, or was it a yawner played by two weak teams? It was the latter. We know.
Reality sucks sometimes. He played against one of the weakest teams in the NFL. The chargers are horrible and Denver pulled out a very unimpressive win.
I didn’t watch the game. I saw the recap on the NFL Network. It looked like a yawner.
Only an idiot would think Stidham is anything even close to Wilson.
