Adam Schefter just said that Keenan Allen is not expected to play today. That will be help our secondary that is depleted by injuries and a suspension.
That’s a good mechanical/scientific approach. Here are some of my questions:I understand your point of view there, but I don't know that I agree. We really don't know what this team could have been due the long list of things we have talked about all season. Not sure what area you think they have not tried to improve.
What hole did they not try to fill? Some of these moves were questioned by some, but the effort was made.
- Drafted Jeudy and Hamler to compliment Sutton to improve the passing game.
- Signed Glasglow to help the Oline.
- Signed Melvin Gordon to bring more to the running game.
- Traded for Casey and signed Shelby Harris to help with defense.
- Traded for Bouye and drafted Ojemudia for a better pass defense.
I listened to Broncos Country Tonight from the Broncos web site from 12/23 this morning and one thing they brought up is that the Broncos have been running less then a full offense. They also provided some statisical proof that Lock has show more improvement then maybe the we realized, and the lack of offseason. Below is a link to a subset of their show:
Broncos Country Tonight: Dec. 23
Ryan Edwards and Benjamin Allbright discuss potential backup quarterbacks who could be added in the offseason, how the stats and analytics show an upward trend in Drew Lock's game and Tim Jenkins of Jenkins Elite joins the show to break down Lock's progrewww.denverbroncos.com
These are good questions and none of us have the answers to all. The bottom 2 is basically no one as there is not an owner. We all realize that this is an issue that needs to be resolved. That’s a good mechanical/scientific approach. Here are some of my questions:
How do players fit - are they a team or locker room full of individuals.
What is the dominant motivation? Fear? Loyalty? Respect?
Which players are providing leadership?
Which players call out lack of effort?(in some cases the same as the leaders, sometimes not)
Who is holding players accountable for their mistakes?
Who is holding coaches accountable for their mistakes?
Who is holding management accountable for their mistakes?
Who is holding the clown trio claiming to be in charge accountable?
Life is art and science and, yes, players win and lose games on their physical traits. But that’s only part of the whole painting.
Well he can't be frustrated with a lack of targets, like he did was after the KC game. He has caught 5 of 11 targets. Not sure how many drops he might have, but one would hope he would catch a higher percentage then that.Jeudy drops another this one a TD
Omg
I’d say 4 were drops. But glad they keep targeting him, the only way to work it out.Well he can't be frustrated with a lack of targets, like he did was after the KC game.
