Wait is there no edit option on this forum? Well expect 1000 typos from me. Hard to read whole comments before sending them from my phone.

I fully expect a tight low scoring game ( so probably a 41-38 shoot out).

Brady is rarely sharp in Mia. They have a solid D that gets pressure. Even if Gronk plays, neither him or Wright will be in mid season form. Pats will move the ball but I expect a lot of stales drives simply by not being fully in sync.

That being said I don't expect any major problem slowing them down. I'm buying into this defense as long as we don't get hit with the injury bug like last year. Miami's weapons are underwhelming even if Tannehill makes the right reads. This is where Revis will make that difference. 3rd downs they can take out 3 options every time with Revis always singled up. It will take a deep offense like Den, NO or GB to have consistent success. We face only a few teams like that till the postseason.

Starting tonight I'm interested if we are going to continue to see a parade of flags thrown all over the field.

I'm not figuring Tannehill is going to have a whole lot of success against the new Pats defense regardless.

Patriots play 2:00 AM Monday here in Okinawa time.
I will get up at 2:00 and go to work at 5:00.
I often get up at 4:00 so I guess that is not too bad.....

My hat off to you, Sir! That's dedication!

The Patriots often play poorly the first game of the year.

1. Brady tough to beat in openers. Tom Brady is 11-1 in his career as a starter in a season opener. No quarterback has a better record among starters in the Super Bowl era.
Tom Brady -- 11-1
John Elway -- 12-4
Dan Fouts -- 9-3
Peyton Manning -- 11-4

Only time he has been beaten in the opener was '03 to Buffulo, 31-0.

I'm predicting a blowout for New England. I want to see 10 guys with receptions.....
I also want to see every running back get some touches.
The "new" O-line is surprisingly good.

Sorry to hear that. The online livecasts are maddening. They're just so slow with the latest plays.
Aren't there bars or something for out of town fans rooting for different teams?

Much to my surprise..our local CBS affiliate is giving us..the Jags @ Eagles. Very surprised since we typically get Houston games and I think Skins @ Texans will be a better game. Then again, once the blowout in Philly begins they will probably switch us to that game anyway. :L

The Patriots are often a little rough in season openers. Miami's D isn't bad at, so we will see our offensive line tested that's for sure. I still think we have too much on both sides of the ball to lose but it's possible.

I know I know but some of those wins have been utter miracles. They may win but they don't play well.

You need a certain number of posts and even then you have FIVE minutes to edit...

Yeah I don't like it either.

I do like that posts become permanent but you should have perhaps 20 minutes or so. Why is it that you don't see mistakes until you post them?! :gaah:

Yeah I don't like it either.

Do you know the post limit? I think ten minutes would be a little better, especially for posts that are more than a three or four word (Raid) response.

I do like it though, it makes you think a bit more before throwing anything out there.

I can edit now - seems like around 25 posts.

I am happy we aren't seeing Dion Jordan and Maurice Pouncey (if I got the right brother's name). Both of them would have made a huge difference, IMO.
