Lost to the lowly Dolphins to lose the #1 seed, and lost to a team lead by a QB who can't throw an accurate ball over 10 yards, and has been the worst QB in the league all year long. The Patriots ended the year in embarrassing fashion. Definitely not gravy. If the Patriots don't change much, they might slip up more next season.

I'm happy that my team finally has a QB that we can move forward with without having to worry about it. I think the team can only improve. Tough division though. The win total won't improve much next year, but the team overall will.

It's funny, because I've been very critical of Von in the playoffs. In the loss to the Ravens and Colts he pretty much disappeared, and I was waiting for him to come up with a huge game. He delivered yesterday.

2 straight seasons over 4000 yards. Sacked more than any other QB since he's entered the league, and still hasn't missed a single game. 92 total TDs, and 90 total turnovers. Yeah, average numbers, but if you consider the situation he's been in, he doesn't suck. While every other Dolphin QB since Marino left has sucked pretty bad. Yeah, I'm happy about it.

It's a different world. He may have had a lot of passing yards but was only ranked 9th and 11th in passing yards and even with all those passing yards he was 15th and 12th in TDs. Plus, sacks are often just as much the QBs fault as the OLs.
