In other injury related news - Virgil Green left the locker room in a walking boot. Not many options at TE.

Report that Ware will only miss 3-4 weeks. Think I'll wait until they have better reports tomorrow before I believe that.

The ulna is the thin bone of the forearm, opposite the thumb

Ware is in great physical shape and should heal quickly ... A silver lining is that this is not related to his back, so he'll be on fire when he returns and everyone else is nicked up

Never want to see him injured, but if it is 3-4 weeks it will help with his back anyway in keeping him fresh down the line.

Throw some dirt on it.

Honestly I think him missing games during the regular season last year helped him to be a huge force in the playoffs. So yeah I'm not going to sweat him missing some early games. Yes it is a blow to our defense as he has been a force but I think we have enough depth at the position to hold the fort down for a few games.

He's a captain so his leadership be be felt right away and every game he does not suit up.

He's a captain so his leadership be be felt right away and every game he does not suit up.

Last year what he did was he was pretty much an extra coach on the sideline. After every defensive series he was the one talking to all the defensive players about what he saw and the best way to go and make a play. So while yes it will be felt I think he can still be a great captain for this team with his coaching work.

Heck I remember when we brought him in they said that he would actually even work with some of the coaches to teach them a thing or two. He worked with the OL of what they are doing that tips him off to how they plan to block him or what type of play they are planning to run. So Ware's ability to coach will be a nice asset during this time.

Yeah Ware, will still be on the sidelines. He is a great leader but I also don't feel we lack leadership in Denver.

Agree, Carl.. I felt like him missing time in the regular season helped keep him fresh for the playoff push.(hopeful playoff push) We have good depth.
