I will stick with this

Huskers will play USC Holiday Bowl

Zero chance we get that. Email for tickets from university had Foster Farms, Pinstripe, Quick Lane, Armed Forces, Music City and Taxslayer as potential bowls.

veeywell then --we shall see

The Big 10 4th or 5th place team goes to the Holiday Bowl. 5th place team if they get a team in the Play-Off.

Nebraska can finish 8th at best.

1) Iowa............ (11-0)
2) Michigan St...(10-1)
3) Ohio St.........(10-1)
4) Michigan.......(9-2)
5) Northwestern (9-2)
6) Wisconsin......(8-3)
7) Penn St.........(7-4)

There will be no Holiday Bowl for (5-7) or (6-6) Nebraska.

I would allow it if the Gildan NM Bowl wanted to take us vs the tie in for MWC & cUSA, it's just so lucrative tho

I thought bowls get to choose who they want and where you rank in the conference doesn't decide that.

I'd think if Nebraska could beat Iowa, with 2 wins over National Title contending teams and being on a little hot streak bowls would be looking forward to getting all the Husker fans to travel to town.

Did that all change?

As I recall you'd have to be within one win of a fellow team you're getting picked over. Therefore they could only be chosen before Penn St, given Penn St loses to Michigan St on Saturday.

A Big 10 honk would know the rule better than I. @rmilia1 or @iowajerms

Yep you're right RA. Its,actually called the " Iowa rule" ironically. It was put in place after a 6-6 Iowa team was the Alamo bowls choice for their rep over 4 teams, with better records. Bowls were basically picking teams with better traveling fan bases instead of more deserving teams. The B10 put the 1 win separator in place so as to put a stop to that

The supposed #3 team in the nation lost to that Texas team this year.

That shit is a joke. Oklahoma loses to the saddest team in the history of the world and then catches a break from TCU who decides to go for 2, and the playoff committee can't see this as the Sooners still somehow pass the eye test.

I can see 10 teams right now that would beat Oklahoma.
