Another thing is Macdonald, who does he want to run the offense?

I would think with Fields' lack of resume to this point, takers will be limited with what they will ask in return. "If" they are trading Fields, we know its because they are taking QB. I would think his value would be 4th-5th pick in return.

That would solve some problems for us as we could nail down LT and QB with a 2nd rounder, and two 3rd rounders left in the earlier rounds.

Use the 100 million on a guard and RT and defense. Use the 2nd rounder, and two third rounders on BPA at a position of need.

the FA market for o/line is urine . i would look at drafting the LT , moving wylie to LG draft a center to compete with stromberg , keep cosmi at RG and draft an RT . the 100 mil i would look at keeping curl , fuller then look for real LB help and an edge rusher

I'm not a huge Fields fan, but I'm a huge MHJ fan. I can't say.

Getting MHJ at 2 or 3 and maybe Fashanu at 8 would be crazy, but what if Caleb is Mahomes. That GM would be fkd.

If the Bears want a second rounder for Fields, I’d offer them the CY third rounder bc they will have tipped their cap that they are drafting a qb #1.

I doubt they’d do it, but if they did, I sure as shit would trade down for as many picks as possible, grab another qb with one of the picks, fortify the oline, and have three young qbs to battle it out for starters rights next year.

I understand that but it is what it is. Like i have said for years, I would love to have 20 draft picks.
Not sure you can draft a LT and RT in the same draft. Maybe we could.
