Don't know who the other guy is, but the bolded are great, great....will watch most anything they're in, save for some of JM's period pieces en sech...ima simple guy...musicals and elaborately layered clothing en sech do nothing for me.

Woody's weed stigma takes away from the fact that he is a great actor.

Eric Bana is head and shoulder above the rest on my list for purely being under-utilized for how awesome he is.

Tommy Flannagan (great sidekick in Bravehart and Gladiator)

True story:

Woody was a Senior at Hanover College when I was a Freshman. I may (???) have met him - I attended a couple of Rush events at the fraternity that he belonged to - but I really can't remember for sure.

Early in my Sophomore year I saw the film that he produced as his Senior 'project': It was a VERY low budget 'indie' type short, with no dialog (just Woody narrating) & a lot of overdramatic acting, but it was still kinda neat.

Imagine the surprise & delight of all of the students & staff at Hanover when he showed up in the cast of Cheers two years later.

Sahara has JUST started on TNT. Ever since I first saw that movie, I've always said I'd rather date sidekick Steve than mainboy Matt. Too bad Steve is married!

TNT really needs to stop showing this movie. They are running it into the ground!

I'll be honest and say that I think this thread has as many overrated actors than underrated ones. The guys mentioned since I went to sleep who are good picks are Clive Owen, Tim Roth, Brian Cox, John Malkovich, John Cusack, and Giovanni Ribisi.

Kevin Kline, Gary Oldman, Jeff Daniels, Paul Walker (the single worst mainstream Hollywood actor, IMO), and Sam Worthington all belong on the other list.

One guy who hasn't been mentioned (probably because he picks shitty movies) but tends to improve every movie he is in:
