I assume that's where Thomas comes in. I wasn't impressed by his play in the Raider game. There were several run plays where he was out of position and it cost them yardage. But what do I know, im sure im missing something.

If some how GB can land Mack......man, I think he would be the difference this defense needs.

Agreed. With TT at the helm it was a definite pipe dream. Not so sure with Gut but I don't see it happening all the same.

I just dont think we would be willing to pay the price tag to trade for him on top of the 10+ million we would hae to pay him for his contract.

I read some where Gut said something along the lines of making it work but it would be a hefty tag on top of paying Rodgers.

Tim Boyle looks like an actual QB. I realize he's playing against backups, and my eyes might be deceiving me...but he got the least reps of the 3 that were in camp and he looks better than Kizer and Hundley did..in my not so humble opinion of course

To get and be able to afford Mack we'd have to trade Perry and possibly Matthews to free up cap space plus give up 2 first rounders. That's a tall order

53 man roster out. No surprises really. I know I will be chastised for this but I don’t see the defense making any leaps and bounds. I pray that I’m wrong but we will know shortly. Gilbert is a glimmer of hope so maybe they can get pressure.

If I had to guess, as soon as Jones becomes eligible to return, GB makes room for him on the roster.

Question is......who do they cut to make room?

My guess is GB checks on who got cut at OLB and brings someone in.
