Viz settled down. Hate to say it, but we'd better hope he figures it out. I don't think Snit will make the change at closer unless it gets Jim Johnson bad, and nobody wants to see that.

Im Ok with Viz in 2 run or 3 run save opportunities...I would run Winkler or Carle out there in a 1 run game though

But what a way to bounce back after a screw job and a blown save last night.

A loss like that snowballs on a bad team. We've been resilient all season. It's a big part of the different feel this team has. Last year, that loss snowballs.

I'd be fine with that, but what are the odds Snit actually does something like that.

Carle is a quasi closer as is. He bails other pitchers out of jams about as good as anyone I've ever seen. For that reason, I want him to stay in the same role.

I want either Viz to get going and take firm control of his spot, or I want Winkler to be given a shot.

They said on the radio(the Braves flagship station) that Soroka will probably make his next start.

Yesterday was the game I expected to be rained out. It actually turned out to be a beautiful day today, and as of this morning, rain wasn't supposed to move in until after midnight, but I guess the forecast changed.

Last game of a series has been a day game all season. Wonder why it wasn't today.

I used to hate day games, but now that I'm back to running equipment, having a game on the radio makes the day go by a lot faster, plus we're undefeated this year in weekday day games.

Meanwhile, Georgia is playing Arkansas in Athens with no rain, and a matchup of two likely nationally seated CWS teams isn't on tv, but I've found 5 other college baseball games, 3 of which are between teams with no CWS chances.
