Shane Carle is the only reliever we've used today that hasn't allowed a run.

And AA is just gonna sit on his ass and not get us any help.

God it's a damn shame that Coppy got caught.

If we're not gonna help the bullpen, then we might as well sell of pieces that aren't a part of future plans.

Offense pissed away a lot of opportunities today, and they were the victim of two great defensive plays that might have made this game a different story, but every reliever other than Shane Carle(who faced one batter) allowed a run today(Sam Freeman's won't be charged to him, but we all know who gave it up).

Winkler has been struggling lately.

I like Viz when healthy. Minter has been pretty good of late. Biddle has be more than serviceable. Other than that, it's a huge mixed bag.

Winkler and Carle aren't terrible middle relief options and are good enough to be on the team.

But Sam Freeman, Peter Moylan and Luke Jackson are just terrible.

We've gotta win both games against the Marlins. Dodgers come to town after that, and I'll be surprised if we avoid the sweep in that series.

Any positive he did yesterday was overshadowed by him doing a home run trot on a ball that hit off the wall and getting himself thrown out at second.

I know we need him with Albies out, but if you're gonna pull Ender for not running, you've gotta do the same for Acuna.

Dansby had one of the most misleading statlines of all time yesterday too.

Fell behind 0-2 to Scherzer and still got the run in from third, then he had an RBI single, and then he missed a game tying 2 run homer by 6 inches and was robbed of at least an RBI double. But the final line shows 1-4.

He's had the All Star Break to regroup and this is a game that nobody other than Braves fans are watching against the Marlins. Hopefully Newcomb will have a good game tonight.
