Only 72 pitches through 6 for Julio.

I know with the All Star Break coming up, the pen doesn't really need to rest today, but I'd like to see Julio finish this off. With Julio being either really good in a start or terrible with no real in between, we need to take full advantage when he is on. Any quality inning he can give us is a huge bonus.

And Newcomb wasn't great yesterday, but he wasn't horrible and I thought it was a nice bounceback after his last two disaster starts, the offense just decided to not show up yesterday or Friday night.

Pitching has been fine this series.

I still don't agree with the decision to take out Julio, but nice work by Biddle. With Winkler struggling now, I'd like for Biddle to have a bigger role in the bullpen.

If we hold on and the Marlins hold on, we'll enter the All Star Break only .5 games out of first. With as poorly as we've played, that would be about the best we could hope for.

But Machado was pulled from his game today, and if he goes to the Phillies, it's gonna make it real tough to win the division even if we play well after the break.

I think he was third behind Julio and Minor.

Julio was really good at the beginning of his career and Minor looked like he was gonna be our ace of the future, but injuries derailed his career unfortunately.

You would think...but half the players on teams are hispanic so he probably got by.

If he has a career close to what Vlad had, I can live with him only speaking Spanish.

A lot of players and coaches are bilingual, not sure about Snit, but I know Bobby spoke Spanish.

The Japanese speaking players are the ones that would be tough to communicate with. Their translator is the only member of the team that has any idea what they are saying.

Seeing that we're now interested in Mike Moustakas.

I'd be fine with it if it doesn't cost too much, but I kinda get annoyed when all I've really seen is rumors about position players and the only thing I've really seen on pitchers is that we've been scouting Nate Eovaldi.
