And I'm glad the game is postponed. No chance in hell the team could have recovered after that shit show yesterday.

Julio Teheran at home vs Aaron Nola who owns us.

Not too optimistic about our chances tonight. Surely Gabe learned his lesson the first go around.

Why the hell isnt Acuna up yet?? So what if he has struggled so far in AAA this year, its probably becuase he isnt motivated down there.

But that solo homer wasn't on Teheran. He had Herrera struck out a couple of pitches before, but Joe West is the white CB Bucknor.

We got out of it this time, but Joe fucking West nearly cost us another run.

Santana was struck out. If Herrera wasn't a slacker, that would have been second and third with 1 out.

The only run the Phillies have came on a solo homer after Herrera was given a 4th strike.

How Joe West and CB Bucknor still have jobs is beyond me.

Me too. He owns us almost as much as Nola does. He owed us that one IMO.

Albies is the most exciting player we've had in a long time.

The speed, the aggression, the glove.

Oh, he’s definitely a heck of a player. He is a true 5-tool player. But he does so much stupid shit, either in the field or (usually) in the basepaths that he makes you want to scream.

Honestly, and I know this stuff is subjective, but I think Herrera would qualify as having ADHD. It seems like there are times when he’s playing that he just zoned out and loses his concentration into what’s happening at the moment. He reminds me of Jose Reyes from his first stint with the Mets in that way (I don’t know if Reyes has made less stupid mistakes as he’s gotten older).

A perfect comparison is Shane Victorino- who got diagnosed with ADHD and started taking medicine in his second or third season. Also a high energy guy, but he didn’t make nearly as many stupid mistakes.

Weirdly enough, Odubel has great plate discipline. He’s been our most patient hitter by far the last 3 years.

But I still think medicine would help. Ask Carlos Ruiz, or your boy Hammerin’ Hank- amphetamine can help your performance:D

Yeah, for every 10 top prospects, only 1 will live up to the hype (by my estimates). You guys definitely look like you got a keeper in Albies. Looks like he’s gonna be a thorn in our side for years.

Hoskins may be the best hitter the Phillies have had since Jim Thome (though Utley was a better player during his prime than Thome IMO, Thome was a far better hitter)

Bullpen can't throw a strike in the 8th inning. What else is new?

Walk a guy batting under .100 in a one run game in the 8th inning. Bold strategy.

I'm sick and fucking tired of the walks from the bullpen.

Teheran deserved to get the win tonight. He pitched great.

First save of the season. First win while scoring less than 4 runs. First win without hitting a homer.

First time we've beat Aaron Nola in a minute.
