Anybody else hear Bruce Arian's comments today on rookie Humphries? Arian does not hold anything back. Said that the veteran was ahead of him right now on the depth chart because he shows up to work hard every single day. He said Humphries shows up about once a week to work hard. Always kind of like when we can get a coach to be actually honest. We I think have that in Kubiak as he definitely did not hold back on his criticism of our back up OL from the first game and how they need to step up.

Over at KFFL, Draft Crazy had started this enormously successful thread titled "This Forum Is Boring This Week" ... I cannot recall exactly how many pages it was up to, but it was 300+ ..

The topics were wide open - from how to install crown molding, to the best way to prepare tilapia, to random anecdotes about having seen UFOs or ghosts and we even had pages talking about Pho ...

I am NOT posting this because it is boring here ... But having just transplanted, I don't want to venture out into the non-sports forums .. I'd rather hear from guys I know, and want to get to know

Not my sport. I have actually played some in the past few years and don't mind it. I think as a get older the game picks up on me. As I was young

Yeah I like that. Plus lights a fire under the player (should anyway) if not then I would be concerned.

I played a fair amount in my 20's. Then life got busy. Over past 25 years I've probably played 3-4 times.

So I'm not even a small time golfer.

I like to drink beer and swing a club. But I suck at the actual game. About 10 years ago, I started playing, pretty much with the intention of playing a few times per year at those best ball golf tournaments. They turn in to more booze fests than anything else. If I talk about it with someone, I have to warn them many times that I am not looking to win anything and they have to be patient with me, since most of my balls end up unplayable. But I love getting out and playing.

Since it will probably be out on the news soon, I just want to come clean with you all.

I've had two "fall" guys. (As opposed to two winter guys) And yes, they are Draft Crazy and Mingo. Draft Crazy was easy to convince - I just promised him a little bit of cash and networked him with some players - to cover for my moral, ethical and legal failures.

Mingo was tougher. But when I pointed out that he could get Medicare a year earlier than he expected and that celebrities have body guards so what's wrong with a character guard, he reluctantly agreed. It gets a little confusing since they are both Scott and expensive because they are both Scotch. I always go to the younger Scott first as he is cheaper than the elder Scott.

I'm sorry for this indiscretion - and of course I'm only sorry because I'm about to be found out.
