Good to hear he didn't really splurge in jewelry for the draft. That would piss me off - not that it's bad, just come on. Get there first before you celebrate. But it was borrowed for the draft.

More substantive here, too.

30 points in 29 minutes of play. In fact, all 30 were in the first half, which is max 24 minutes and he didn't play all half. So 30 points in 22:01 minutes (he played 28:37 with 5:36 in the second half).

Hmm, I have to withdraw some of my compliments. I don't like the "Prince of Threes".

Not everything has to be made into a pun.

Lol, there's a style that says "Tri blend (extra soft)".

The T shirt needs to have the quarter note, just like the poster does.

Ok, here's me ripping the team again. You don't make a Rodney Hood shirt for a regular season game against one of the worst teams in the league. As much as I like blowouts, save it for a blowout against a meaningful team, or a playoffs game.

It's not even the most impressive 48 point win of the year, as Golden State beat Memphis by 50, and this was when Memphis was mostly healthy too.

The Texas Rangers once won a game 30-3 against the Orioles, in which the Orioles scored the first 3 runs of the game, too.

Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles - Box Score - August 22, 2007 - ESPN

I would even give that game a slight higher dose of importance, even though both teams were < .500.

These t-shirts aren't new. I just didn't see them until after last night's game. There was an article about how he made more threes than X and that was historic. Not sure if that was Utah historic or NBA historic - not as best ever but as historically remarkable. Remind me to find that article one day.

Probably Utah historic.

I think if it were NBA historic, it would have garnered more attention.

Besides, most of those threes were contested, so it wasn't just making threes against a bad team. I mean, it was, but 8 of 9 independently, when contested, is remarkable. Of course, he was 1-10 one night, so it doesn't mean he's consistently good or an "assassin."

Were they really contested, or fake effort from the Lakers contested?

I never could get into those Robin Hood movies. Saw both of them, including Men In Tights.

I watched them because others wanted to.

We had to read the book in 7th grade. And then had to write a daily journal recapping it, or something.

Book was ok.

Oh, I finally get the "Maid Marion" reference for Shawn Marion! The Suns board on ESPN used to call Marion that name. I thought it was funny just because of the alliteration. But now it takes on an expanded meaning, with the reference to Robin Hood.

I'd prefer a Hood shirt that made him look like Bill Belichick, or a hood-wearing boxer.
