Didn't Chicago win the national championship back in the early 1900s? Seems like their football coach was one of the pioneer coaches.

Without using Google, I'm going to say yes, and Amos Alonzo Stagg.

I think any kid that plays in a conference that cancels their fall season should be able to transfer to a school that is playing and be immediately eligible

Ok - so the entire Ohio State team transfers to Kansas and kicks off pretty much every kid. Kansas then becomes the front runner in the Big 12 and will probably make the CFB Playoffs.

postponing it to the spring is dumb, just go ahead and cancel the season out right

Here come the people who are going to pretend that every other conference isnt going to do the exact same thing, probably fairly quickly too

At the moment, I do not see any reason for ACC, SEC, BIG12 to cancel merely because B1G did. Why should that affect their own decisions?

Do you have some inside information? Everything I've seen has implied that the SEC and ACC are planning to move ahead. I've heard some rumors that the B12 is 50/50 right now, but that even seemed to be debunked.

It wouldn't shock me if they dropped it, and like you said above, things do move "fairly quickly". The B10 put out a revised schedule just a little over a week ago!

If I were to give it my personal odds, I'd say there is a 75% that the SEC and ACC play next season. I would say it is probably 60% chance that the SEC, ACC, and B12 play.

i just dont see the whole season being played even if they do move forward.
the most SEC is in the most hit states for covid collectively.
Texas is the 3rd most and near half the Big XII is there.
