I think we might get Elam tommorow its 50/50 but his HS coach said whichever school will prepare him for the NFL better will be a critical factor. My gut says he will stay home and go to Kentucky though so IDK.

I will be downright shocked if he doesn't come to Alabama.

Not getting Elam sucks, but atleast he didn't go to awwbun or LSU or sumpin. UK isn't much of a threat and this really doesn't change that.

Well that sucks. He was considered a must-get too.

On the bright side, he was overweight, and had a lot of work to do before he would've had an impact at NT for us. Still could have been another Mount Cody though.

We'll likely lose OJ Smith as well, if not for grades, then to Miss St.

Keep an eye on Malache Dupre and Travis Rudolph. Bama and Humphrey are going hard after Dupre, but even if he commits to FSU, I'm hearing Rudolph might flip from FSU if that happens.

Not saying we'll get either of these guys or come close, but it's an interesting situation.

Damn....tough luck for Minnesota, as today you guys lost in-state four star OT Frank Ragnow to Arkansas. That has got to sting for you Golden Gopher folks.

The good news for Minnesota is that it looks like the Golden Gophers will probably/hopefully get in-state four star RB Jeff Jones, who was the MVP of the Under Armour All Star game played a few weeks ago.

Jeff Jones should fit in very well with the Minnesota power running offensive style, and he should continue the tradition of such fine Golden Gopher RB's as Marion Barber and Laurence Maroney.

I actually love it. I think it reeks of desperation and shows what a weak position LSU thinks they are in for Malachi and Young. I chuckled when I first heard about it. I thought UCLA didn't have much shot with Dupre but this has given me a lot of hope.

Jackson is super tight lipped about his recruitment so everyone is just guessing. From what I hear it's SC and UF in front but what I hear is about as reliable as internet message board rumor.

His mom is in LA this weekend and they may visit USC and/or UCLA this weekend. If I had to bet money on it I would put money on USC even if he visits UCLA this weekend. The rumor is that UCLA is having a huge Superb Owl party hosted by a celebrity so a guy like Jackson may just want to go to that.
