The Southampton ladies soccer team hosted the Arsenal women's team last night and Arsenal won 2-1, but it was good to see a record crowd of over 13,000 fans at the game. Good quality and entertaining match based on the highlights I watched.

It appears the ref was mad at the goalie for time wasting and thought the goalie dived - I agree with the non-call.

Meanwhile in Manchester, RB Leipzig had a 2-nil lead only to see the Citizens strike for three goals in the 2nd half to win 3-2

Porto losing out on first place in their group to Barca thanks to two goals by Portuguese players who came up through their rivals is just perfect.

Canadian Ismael Kone playing for Watford had a pretty nice strike versus Norwich earlier today...Also crashed a belter against the woodwork later in the game.

Nothing confirmed as of yet, but Onana might have been left behind in Istanbul after tonight's game.

Young Will Riker is doing a pretty good job as Saints manager...Hold on, being told it's actually Russell Martin.

Vanni gets hammered...

I think he was hammered during that game lol ... honestly .. he could use the behavio(u)ral assessment regardless of what he did that game :noidea:

MIL (who is in town staying with us) last night after seeing this on the news: "Now ... what nationality is he again?"
Me (knowing full well where this is going): "Yes ... he is Italian"
MIL: "ohhh another one of these hot headed EYE-talians"

Bonkers game at Anfield earlier today, Fulhan went up 3-2 with about 10 minutes left, Liverpool scores two late goals to win 4-3. Some beautiful strikes in this game as well.

Spurs getting a point as banged up as they are at the Ethiad is a great result.

Some very nice goals in this game as well (the Kulusevski header to tie the game late was fantastic)
