I think about half of The War on Drugs songs are about leaving a bad relationship and going out on your own. They're probably all roughly the same quality but this one I think has the most interesting build and is probably the most 'overproduced' which I think is something they go for.


I actually dont think they finished the lyrics with the album version because all of the live versions feature the line 'be the writer of your own story' and it just sounds like mumbles on the album.
