Yup. It's been headed this way for years. Maybe there will be a separate CFP subdivision that is made up of teams from the Big Ten and SEC. Other FBS teams continue as FBS, but they won't be eligible for the CFP. FCS continues as FCS.

Teams who aren't in the Big Ten and SEC yet will continue trying to figure out a way in. I figure that Florida State and Clemson will get into the SEC. Notre Dame into the Big Ten?

I see the Big Ten adding a few more big markets (for viewers and recruiting purposes). Miami would be a hot market. Atlanta (possibly Georgia Tech), Charlotte (possibly North Carolina), and maybe a Texas team.

Once they get those markets, the Big Ten will have a presence in every region of the United States and I think just about every city in the top 10 of population.

Gonna be a lot of crying when some folks figure out their program is going 6-6 or worse more often than they will be winning 9 or more.

Yeah but it really only 10 teams though. Every year you could guess at least 2 of the final four teams and generally guess 3.
