Denver has been rigging this narrative for Jokic for half a decade now with him having a trash backup.

What difference does the margin make? Nobody will remember a few years later.

Besides, the margin doesn't mean it was a one man season. It just means that most people agreed on Jokic as the 1, and largely split on Shai/Luka at 2 and 3. The votes are weighted in addition.

Nikola Jokic: 79 18 20 0 926
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander:15 40 40 31 640
Luka Doncic: 4 36 50 8 0 566
Giannis Antetokounmpo:1 1 4 44 23 192
Jalen Brunson: 0 3 1 28 32 142
Jayson Tatum: 0 0 1 14 39 86
Anthony Edwards: 0 1 1 1 3 18
Domantas Sabonis; 0 0 0 1 0 3
Kevin Durant: 0 0 0 0 1 1
79 bitches that started watching basketball in 2015.

Imagine changing the rules of your sport to make the league more comfortable to play in for Toni Kukocs and then giving Toni a bunch of MVPs after faking the stats to feed to your 79 new bitches.

The state of the NBA.

So who is your choice? Probably not Luka, given that Kukoc comment

BTW, what rules have changed lol?

If anything the rule changes have all been more affirmative action plans for smaller weaker players who need to cheat (travel & carry) to beat those superior bigger players

Of course Luka. He had an insane year. MVP. No one else is close.

Or gather steps

That’s two major rule changes in the last 15 years that were objectively awful and only allowed (legally) in the nba

(The nba is still the only league where 2 complete steps is not a travel…by the book)

Luka. 1st in points. 2nd in assists. He's a point guard so there you go.

Jokic. 10th in points. 4th in rebounds. He's a center so there you go.

This was an easy one that the basketball media completely fucked up. Disgraceful.

Convenient that you left out that Jokic was 3rd in assists, .8 behind Luka. Luka only scored more because he took 6 more shots per game. Jokic was the more efficient shooter of the two.

I have a weird feeling that he would do well
Their GM has worked with him in the past I believe. He could do well.

And I bet he gets all 4 years to show what he can do. Probably not the case on a different team with vets and pressure to win right away. See Darvin Ham. Although, he showed he wasn't ready for the bright lights in Los Angeles.

I’m thinking your ability to form rational thoughts is the bigger disgrace currently

That was 2011-2013.

He was the senior/first assistant on the bench. At least since Ham was hired.

It's his background, so he likely values the role is my point.
