Still here! Grading like a mother fuck some shit ass essays that make my eyes bleed and question life choices. It was irresponsible of me though to drop a line about sucking on my tailpipe in the garage and then disappearing.
I could not imagine the writing that kids put out today. It has to be atrocious.

We need to bring back the “See Johnny Run” series.

I mean they did scratch him like 15 minutes prior to the game. You can't do that to bettors.
At least Silver didn’t make the Sixers hire a Colangelo this time. (Stole that from Twitter; can’t take credit)

It’s a mixed bag. All I care about is that they get better. Mother fuckers think volume = good. So instead of me reading 3 pages of concise dumb I get 6 pages of repetitive dumb haha.

And why do you think a team gives a player such a lucrative contract? Call me crazy but I'm guessing it's so the team might compete and win a championship, right?

Employers don't pay people just for the hell of it.

Hence my reasoning that players should get bonuses based on TEAM accomplishments, not INDIVIDUAL accomplishments.

Yes and no. I don't think there's a problem with bonuses based on individual accomplishments, but it should be ones where the player has some control.

The problem with is tying them to things like All-Star selections, All-NBA teams, etc. is that those are based on votes by fans, media, etc. that players can't control.

The truth of the matter is there aren’t enough guys that deserve max contracts, much less supermax contracts. Unions always screw the true top performers, just how it is.

Less than a week to the trade deadline, anyone that doesn’t have what they need better get busy.

thats crazy to me.
Pretty crazy he is 24 and Allen is 25.

Seeing some of these contracts, he might get $25M/yr+.

I'm not sure I want to give him that much. I would pay him $18-20M/yr. Which is roughly 15% of the cap in 24-25.

I saw one article on his value, it is around $21M right now...seems about right..

Now we are talking about someone that would really fit on the Thunder.
I'm not sure if Giddey fits their needs but it should only take a 1st and a salary match. $9M. Seems like a no-brainer for OKC

I am down with that, Giddey won’t reach his potential with the Thunder. He needs to be running the show.
