Game Thread: Texans vs Broncos, Week 2

It’s time to stop looking over our shoulders and wish things would have worked out differently on Monday. But here we are just four days away from the next kickoff. Let’s beat those Texans so LGM and Mingo don’t have to take any abuse from their friends and colleagues in Texas.

I'm good. Houston fans don't even like Houston right now.

But let's win anyway.

The Texans did a good job last week in holding a good Colts team to a tie game. However, it was there home opener and they had all summer to prepare for it.

Coming off of their loss and in their home opener, I expect the Broncos to dominate in all facets of the game. Coaching blunders and breaking in periods hopefully behind us.

Need to see our offense put up more points and get past their Red Zone woes.
Defense continue their dominance of the 2nd half of Monday's game.
Special teams to get their act together.

I expect a warm welcome for RW from the Mile High crowd. Go Broncos!

Thought we escaped the week 1 injury bug unlike previous years.

Broncos receiver KJ Hamler played 40 of 66 snaps Monday night despite being questionable with knee and hip injuries.

Unfortunate the early injuries, but just thankful none of them seem to be season ending. Broncos can weather that storm early on here as long as they are back for that second half push.

Honestly a little excited to see Caden Sterns get this start. Loved his play last year. I heard he wasn't having the best offseason, but huge opportunity for him to prove his worth. Really want to see the defense make a statement in this one.

I will say though watching Houston last week I thought they did a decent job controlling the LOS on defense. Going to be interesting to see if the Broncos can win up front especially with Meinerz out. I do get that Taylor still had a pretty good game, but had plenty of times hitting him in the backfield.

Sterns offseason started off a little concerning but he wasn't healthy to start summer camp. Once he got healthy he seemed to be fine.

btw, PJ Locke is wearing #6 now if you get confused when you see a #6 on the field.

Agree on the Texans. They looked pretty decent last week.
