Utah beat Oregon head to head yet ranks below them in almost every ranking. Oh yeah, Utah's got one more loss. Well then, how about Wisconsin and Minnesota? Same record, UMn won the head to head, but UW ranks ahead of UMn in EVERY ranking out there. Oh, UMn has that bad loss, so you are saying bad losses count? Then why the fuck does Oregon not get held accountable for their embarrassing loss to Stanford? There's no pathway to the playoffs for OSU. Michigan and Oregon would have the same record (in terms of losses) and both beat OSU head to head.
They do. They need help, but they do.Bless your heart thinking Ohio State has any road to the playoff.
I wouldn't classify "meteor strike to four top 10 teams" as a reasonable definition of help. They do. They need help, but they do.
of course its a long shot. but there actually is.......... sorry you are uninformed.Bless your heart thinking Ohio State has any road to the playoff.
The playoff committee saw the two best teams you played push yalls shit in. It ain't happening, broof course its a long shot. but there actually is.......... sorry you are uninformed.
Both the Sagarin and the Massey Ratings/Rankings disagree with you and rank OSU #3, ahead of Michigan still. But yeah, the Committee unfortunately is all that matters right now and they'd have to move up 3 spots without playing anyone, so UC needs to lose, Bama needs to lose and Michigan needs to lose, and Baylor needs to win as well, for OSU to have a shot, but it's not impossible. The playoff committee saw the two best teams you played push yalls shit in. Literally no one cares what the Sagarin and Massey computer rankings say. Both the Sagarin and the Massey Ratings/Rankings disagree with you and rank OSU #3, ahead of Michigan still. Theres no way OSU is getting in. Theres nothing left to add to their resume. And the things they woulx need to happen in order to feel like theyd have a shkt would all include teams right behind them dramarically improving their own resumes. To be fair Bama SHOULD also 100% be out with a loss too but they are Bama and we all know how that worksBoth the Sagarin and the Massey Ratings/Rankings disagree with you and rank OSU #3, ahead of Michigan still. Oregon's not going to beat Utah, lol. Are you kidding? Utah beat them 35-7 or something like that last time they met? Baylor has better odds of winning, but are they even ranked Top Ten? No Big 12 team has ranked very high this year. Beating each other proves nothing. OSU pummeled a Top Ten ranked team and only lost to Top Ten ranked teams.Literally no one cares what the Sagarin and Massey computer rankings say.
And what you are forgetting are the teams that would jump them with a win. Baylor and Oregon at minimum. And I could even see Iowa jumping them. And I'm not remotely convinced that Bama would drop below them if they kept it close with Georgia.
Iowa would definitely jimp them by finishing with a better record, a better win and a league title in OSUs own leagueLiterally no one cares what the Sagarin and Massey computer rankings say.

The entire concept behind this is Baylor winning....Oregon's not going to beat Utah, lol. Are you kidding? Utah beat them 35-7 or something like that last time they met? And Iowa? Iowa couldn't beat Wisconsin or Purdue and got lucky to beat PSU. Was Minnesota their best win? lol
And Bama would need to keep it close, because they barely got by Auburn most recently and lost to A&M so their are excuses for dropping them in the rankings. Most likely Georgia's going to throttle Bama.
Oregon? Eye test? Their getting pummeled by 3 loss Utah 35-7 pleased their eyes? Being the only team ranked among the Top 80 in the nation to lose to Stanford, pleased their eyes? lol The Sagarin has Oregon ranked #17, the Massey Rating has them #16, I'm sure there are other rankings/ratings that have them similarly ranked, or worse. The AP and Coaches polls that don't matter have them ranked #10, but this is before they play Utah again, lol.Iowa would definitely jimp them by finishing with a better record, a better win and a league title in OSUs own league
Baylor and Oregon will as well and OSU wont jump Michigan who just beat them either
If
UGA wins and the underdogs all win my guess is
UGA
ND
Baylor
4th spot really depends on how bad UGA beats Bama. If its close the committee will happily do a rematch
If its not close and UGA clobbers Bama the committee isnt going to give the Tide another shot so itd probably come down to Oregon or Iowa
Iowas resume would be better as theyd have the best win and better losses nut the committee could still pick Oregon based on eye test
Comped to Iowa? Its possible. The only 2 loss team with a shot to get in without a conference title is Bama and even that really shouldnt be the case so upsets this weekend could lead to crazinessOregon? Eye test? Who are these people who think the eye test helps Oregon? People who ONLY watched their one game vs OSU? Back when OSU was still breaking in many of it's young players?
Haha! You’re a funny guy. Whether it’s sports or politics, you’re a K Pop level Fan Boi.of course its a long shot. but there actually is.......... sorry you are uninformed.
You’re trying to use reason and logic to convince a Fan Boi. You’re wasting your time. The playoff committee saw the two best teams you played push yalls shit in. It ain't happening, bro
I think we did if Auburn beat Bama but bama winning that game ended any chance. They do. They need help, but they do.
OK. Who's in if the following happens......... The underdog in all of those games is very possible.
GA beats bama.
Houston beats Cincy.
Iowa beats scUM.
Baylor beats Okla St.
Even if Bama were to lose to GA, they would probably still take Bama over Ohio St bc they made it to the CCG, if it's close...they definitely would be in over Ohio St.^^^ if.......
