I was bashing the Reds bottom half the other day and look what it's done since.
Mesoraco is a hitting machine. Cozart had 4 hits, Cingrani got on base, Leake 3 hits. The other night, the bottom half of the order was something like 8 for 8 reaching base through the first 4 or 5 innings.
Strange how teams score runs that way.
That's what I see in St. Louis. Not great bottom half hitting but just enough to turn the top half into a very dangerous offense.
Hammer the ball.
