So, he has been my go to most of the year in both leagues I play in.

Team 1: My option is to go with Kaepernick. This is a 14 team league where I somehow ended up with a first round bye and the best record. My 1st three picks were AJ Green, J. Charles, and R. Cobb, none of whom I'll be playing this week. How did I get this far with those as my top 3? 5th round pick Melvin Gordon... So, I don't trust Stafford to do anything and Kaepernick can get me 5 or maybe 20.

Team 2: I have Eli Manning or I can go with Flacco. I feel like Manning can get me 2 Tds if nothing else and in this league they're worth 6 points.

Lions D hasn't given up more than 20 points in 7 or 8 weeks. I have Jennings and I'm afraid to start him. I'm starting Carr over Stafford cause of the weather. I'll probably regret it.

The finger injury to Stafford is why I'm afraid to play him. But, I mean, you saw my alternatives, Eli or Flacco in one league or Kaepernick in the other. I think Eli is the safer bet in the one and Kaep has a slightly higher ceiling in the other. It's really just a shit situation overall.

The Giants defense is also really good. They held the Cowboys to 7 last week and are top 5 in defensive efficiency against the pass. Finger injury or not, Stafford is a low upside play.

Given that you are without Gordon too, I think you should gamble and go with Kaeprnick. He is far more volatile, but you need a big number this week and Stafford is unlikely to get it.

I would also start Flacco over Eli. Lions Giants has the look of a 13-9 kind of game.

I'd start Stafford. He's tough and has been practcing in full all week. I want to start him myself and still may. Carr's performance vs. KC freaks me out. Eli makes too many mistakes and I'm expecting a lower scoring game, maybe 21-19 or something.

The others make a good argument for Flacco too. They should be able to blow out the Eagles.

Would you drop Stafford in that case then? (Eli gets the Eagles next week)

not sure. Eli is pretty terrible. If not for OBJ's after the catch brilliance he would not be startable.

I am always okay with dropping players you know you won't use this time of year, but Stafford could be your week -16 play. Just don't think he is a good option today.

Flacco

Want no part of that rainy, windy game tonight. Stafford's finger only enhances that feeling.

Flacco playing in the rain too, but a much easier matchup, imo.

i'm going to stick with Kaep and Eli. Figure Kaep could do something or nothing, ride the wave. They're giving Flacco pause for the wind, that same pause should count for eli/stafford, i'll give the benefit of the doubt to OBJ.

Yeah. Just saw the weather updates for Flacco. That makes things much more difficult.
