Question on the game, why at 5 mins in the 3rd did they not switch sides, I thought at the classic you switched sides at 5 mins left in the 3rd period? Also, there was no handshake at the end? Something I have seen when watching other classics.
They switch sides halfway through the 3rd period for most of the outdoor games due to the weather (wind, blowing snow, etc) so it will be the same for both sides. Didn't have that problem on Saturday at Dodger Stadium. Handshake Line question I can't help you with. Sutter/Boudreau thing maybe? They did do the handshake line after the game at Yankee Stadium game Sunday between the Rangers and Devils but I'm not sure about the switch halfway through the 3rd. Didn't watch the whole game.
