Overall I thought it was a good solid first period by the Kings. Good defensive coverage in front of Quick. Gotta keep it up though. This Ducks team has a penchant for coming from behind to win games. Especially in their barn.

Yes I agree very nice period for the Kings. Kopi moves 10th all time in LA Kings scoring.

In the Pittsburgh / Islander game the refs wave off the goal and it was not reviewable, and turns out the goal stands. NBCSN reverted back to Det goal off the net.

Too many penalties. This Ducks team is too skilled to be giving them 5 power plays in less than 2 periods of hockey. I also don't see enough hits by the Kings. Looks to me like the Ducks are the more physical in this period.
