Oh, and good thing Mattingly waited so long to pull him. No signs of Kershaw breaking down at all. Nope.

Holy hell this is why I can never root against cards.

Just insane how this organization is run and finds ways to get it done.

That's the one pitch you don't give matt. You're supposed to locate lower because he always swings at that

So....it's not a pitchers duel

This is the reason why people call for mattingly head. The pitch selection i will never understand jamming 10 fucking fastballs and then putting in a pitcher who shouldnt be out there.

good thing the yankees got rid of that postseason choker Cano. They sure are a better playoff team without him!

Thanks for the irrelevant point. Just stop the lame excuses for Kershaw. He sucks in the post season until further notice

Stop telling the world that Kershaw is a good playoff because his numbers prove that is a lie

Running the perfect organization is a reason to hate them? Lol

I don't hate them because of that, I was referring to how they always seem to have luck on their side. They're a very well run organization and they should be competitive for quite some time. I hate them for a plethora of other reasons, such as various douchy players/personnel (TLR, Chris Carpenter, etc.) and the whole "BESTEST FANS EVUR" moniker.

Stop telling the world that Kershaw is a good playoff because his numbers prove that is a lie

most postseason stats are too small of a sample size to really mean much of anything. He's made 7 playoff starts. That's about 1/5 of a season's worth of starts. That's not to say that postseason stats should be discounted (especially in the case of guys like Smoltz, Jeter, Rivera), but postseason stats shouldn't have a negative influence on a player's evaluation IMO.

Kershaw first pitcher in MLB history to allow 7+ runs in back to back post season games.
