At the game. It is very apparent that we miss Stanley Morgan a lot.

WR’s out here just going through the motions. Nobody knows how to get open, and it’s killing Adrian. Not saying that’s the only thing that’s wrong, but several times today he’s had ample time standing in the pocket and can’t go anywhere with the ball.

Their Rushing Defense was 101st last season. They gave up 203 YPG. (NU has 103 on the day).
Their Scoring Defense was 122nd last season. They gave up 38 PPG. (NU offense has 14 pts)
Their Pass Defense was 90th last season. They gave up 245 YPG. (NU has 178 YDS)
Their Total Defense was 107th last season.

That's what I hate most about watching on TV. We can never see the receivers. I can't believe no one was getting open. AM didn't have a ton of time but just seemed like he was overthinking it and not making quick/good decisions. I didn't think SF called the best game either.

There were times he had a TON of time though and still giant swing and a miss

Yea he had a ton of time on a handful of plays but man I’m telling you guys.....I was there......and nobody was open. It was awful to watch.

A couple of those passes he did manage to complete were into some pretty tight coverage.

I hate to draw any conclusions after 1 game, and I won’t do that......but there are several areas Offensively where Nebraska must improve by next week or it will most certainly be an L in Boulder.

Turnovers are good to see as that goes right along with Frost’s philosophy. Also special teams coverage was good.

It really truly was primarily the Offense that was bad today. And by bad, I mean horrible.

Cam Jurgens was benched after the first half. Gee, I am shocked!!! He hiked the ball over Adrian's head a lot in the spring game and again today. No idea what the coaches were smoking.

Barrett Pickering was injured so backup kicker went 5-5 on extra points. Thank you, Jorgensen.

Second half was defense scoring and special teams scoring and USA just having the ball the entire time.

I hope Will Farniok/Forbes/Gaylord/Wegener is the starting center next week. Maybe put Josh Wegener as 2nd string. You know, guys that actually played center before.

You called the Jurgens effect well. I put way too much trust in the coaches judgement.
