Even though @Chewbaccer might not agree this is my favorite version of this song. It is a reminder of how the trains tamed the west and made mass transportation available to the masses. I really hate seeing old Gunsmoke/Bonanza episodes showing everybody riding stage coaches. By the 1870's, the railroads were putting stage lines out of business. And there ain't no mountains around Dodge City, it's another 200 miles plus to the Rockies.
