Bill James said Maz was a fringe MVP. Not allowed on this team but he is heating up

Don’t overlook the walk by IKF that kept the rally going.

Odor probably would’ve struck out swinging at a pitch away and in the dirt by being overly aggressive.

I really like what I’m seeing from ikf and Profar right now.

Bad AB by Rua despite bogus call. Pulled way from pitch at 1-1. Maz goes with that pitch

No way he should be sent down when the injured players get back.

Our meathead manager will stick with Odor no matter what.

He’s so focused on player loyalty instead of just playing the best guy or the guy who is doing well at the time.

Rooster can’t see the forest for the trees.

Well Price pitched to Rangers. Nuff said
Yeah, we have owned that guy for the most part especially in the playoffs. Overall we have a .343 average against Price.

Don't forget they gave him a new contract so that plays into things.

Profar has 1 hit and 2 walks

IKF has 1 hit and 1 walk

Combine the output and that’s 3 walks. Odor usually walks 3 times a month if that.

It must be repeated that they gave him roughly 150 games last year, all of spring training, and a few weeks this year.

The guy has hit around .200 the whole time and to date hasn’t shown any signs that he’s turning it around.

FO will not want to look bad by giving him a contract and benching him. Does not work that way.

If they just give him his spot back, would he at least have a short leash with capable guys waiting in the wings?

I think the front office would also look bad by continuing to trot a .200 hitter out there when you have better “ back ups”.
