We could but it is not good for long term feasibility of the team.
Depends. In a perfect world, Young and Sweat have killer years

AND

Howell turns into a Franchise QB.

If All three pan out, then yea decisions will need to be made. But if Chase and Sweat ball out, and we are still looking for a QB, then I say keep them both, Draft the next great maybe and lean on the defense while we continue the quest for a QB.

They didn't rush him back, he was held out several more weeks. When he returned he looked to be the same player. And lets not forget he was ineffective before he got injured. So no I don't see any reason to discuss his injury, that is not the problem.

The fact that we aren’t picking up his contract and he was a number 2 overall tells me it looks like a missed pick . That falls on scouting .

Young is the Ryan Leaf of overhyped DE's. Big miss, it happens.

There is no question this was a miss, but again most every team had him rated this highly and if it was another team that had that pick he would have been their choice as well. It happens, this is not an exact science. Which is why in this draft there will be several more productive players picked in the middle rounds than those picked in the top 10.

You can't blame them for taking Young. He was not following coaching before the injury ... hopefully he will this year.
