Well it would be a better, more sensible move than adding Mariota.

The only thing left is for the Eagles to try out big foot in area 51.

Teams should turn over every stone to fill positions for the 90 man roster going into Training Camp. I don't see how anyone can get mock a team for giving a player a tryout. If they could find Bigfoot, they should put him through a workout. Hey, you never know.

Tebow has a lot of experience with the spread offense. He led Denver to the playoffs. I think we should give him a chance to become our 3rd string QB. He would not cost much since he just wants a chance to prove himself.

I live in the Denver area and Tebow was abysmal as a QB and that is being kind to the word abysmal
I have never seen a QB as bad as Tebow and I'm an old fart

The guy stinks as a QB - he lucked out in games and somehow Denver won
The guy has a leprechaun sticking out of his ass and he pisses lucky charms but that does not make him a good, decent or even journeyman QB

I would rather the Eagles bring back Bubby Brister than to see that waste of a position Tebow play

Some of you are acting like he signed a contract. They are working him out. He may have had his agent reach out to see if he could at least get a workout to see if he has the tools. If he has improved with his mechanics that is nothing wrong with taking a look. Probably much ado about nothing but a look never hurt anyone.

lol. I could carry on for a 1000 posts (and have) disputing your opinion.

Suffice it to say that he frustrated opponents by doing something very non-traditional in the NFL. His crowning glory was putting up 300 yards against the NFL's best defense at the time in the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs. Not to mention that an argument can be made for having the best college career of all time. Those two factors alone should get you a training camp invite.

If Chip signs Tebow I believe ticket sales would go through the roof. Not many NFL QB's have Tebow's charisma.

I don't believe they can. There is a long waiting list for season tickets.

Luckily we play a 3-4 defense, otherwise we may be hearing a Michael Sam workout next.

In all seriousness, if he's the right price and Chip feels he fits, might work :noidea:

It's the attention that surrounds him that would concern me. Mediots who want to focus on everything but football.

Tebow reportedly leaves town without a contract. Maybe there is a God?

This is not a fair dig at Sam. Sam is a good player, very productive in college with measurables and a skillset that is desired in the league. Tebow, which incredibly productive in college, doesn't have the skillset to succeed at his position in the NFL.
