A Lil early I know but amped for this.
I'm pulling for Lock... We all know what we have in Geno and it's a recipe for disaster...little early? lol A lot early.
I'm going to be watching Geno and his progression HEAVY in this game. I am really shocked about all the talking heads saying " Pete might be gun shy to make Lock the starter because of his turn over problems" .... WTF! Uhm please, Geno averaged a 4% INT rate his first 2 years and Drew is 2.8%
100% agreed... Geno is a career back up for a reason - that is a known commodity... Let's see what Lock can do... What if for some reason it starts clicking and he plays well for us... That's a risk i'm willing to take...I myself I just want respectable play at QB, not super star or even good just respectable. We know who and what Geno is and he is not even close to a answer so just let the 25 year old Lock go out and grow. I can respect that, Starting Geno ... I can not respect that at all.

Lets see the QB's picked in the top 15 ( 1-15 ) the past few drafts. Just to get a feel for the hit and miss.I think most of us are pulling for Lock to be the starter. At least there is some upside with him, Geno isn't getting any better then what we have seen. No doubt the Seahawks draft a QB next season to be the franchise QB, hopefully it works out.
I have always believed that a lot of these rookie QBs fail because they go to bad teams with poor coaches. Still plenty of luck involved.Lets see the QB's picked in the top 15 ( 1-15 ) the past few drafts. Just to get a feel for the hit and miss.
2021
Lawrence, Wilson, Lance, Fields, Jones
2020
Burrow, Tagovailoa, Herbert
2019
Murray, Jones, Haskin
2018
Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Rosen
2017
Trubisky, Mahomes, Watson
2016
Goff, Wentz
2015
Winston, Mariota
2014
Bortles
I went top 15 because after that the misses really start to pile up. Still when looking at this list you just see that you have to get lucky even in the top 15 of the first round. If you want 2022 there was no QB drafted in the top 15.

LoL it’s hopeless … I’m surprised we didn’t just let him go, the guy just can’t stay on the field ..Guess who's back (on the IL)

I said resigning him would be a mistake, early signs pointing at me being correcf.LoL it’s hopeless … I’m surprised we didn’t just let him go, the guy just can’t stay on the field ..
From what I've heard the dude never comes in to camp in shape.....so of course hes injury prone. Another in the long list of mistakes made by Pete and John. Looking forward to Walker being the starter.I said resigning him would be a mistake, early signs pointing at me being correct.
None that I know of... We all know what we have in Geno - journeyman, backup QB in the NFL... Lock is the one people are pulling for because at least there could be a sign of hope with him since he's still fairly young...Is anyone in the seattle media or fanbase truly pulling for geno?
Yeah, that was obviously my thoughts as well. I was never a Drew Lock believer, but theres obviously alot more upside there, he also has some pretty good tools to work with.None that I know of...
