If he is there for us at 5 and we take him, we could move the Red Sea (moses) inside to guard, pick up one more big body to play swing block TE and Fire Foester and bring in an O-line coach who wants to plow the road.

We would be very fortunate in that situation.

I would love to snatch up Bulaga and Iupati and have Leonard Williams fall to us in the draft dang that would be so awesome but with our luck nothing ever happens like that

First quarter he missed a couple of second level blocks and he was careless on a few plays but I love his game.
I thought of another 68 that used to move people against their will when he played in DC.

With our luck Williams falls to us but we instead trade back into the draft and select a punter.

If you want to see him struggle, watch the Maryland game.

Scherff looks like a lot of these young OTs coming into the league in the top 10...NFL ready, but not LT ready.

He would be a great pick for WAS @ 5, but I would start him @ RT 1st and let him get used to the NFL speed and move him over after about 6 or 8 games.

ATL took Matthews last year and he started out on the RT and was playing well, but not great...moved to LT due to injury early in the season and he struggled a bit, but settled in and became the best OL on the squad.

Despite my posts I'd be fine with the pick. Still say 5 is way early for a RT and there are comparable players that will be there at 15, but it's a huge need and this guy looks to be rock solid.

If he is drafted at #5 (or any OT for that matter drafted at #5 by this team) it will be with the express intent to play him at RT. Moses would then be maybe considered for a move to RG and backup swing tackle. Not a bad plan if it works out that way. Would give us some tonnage on the O-line save for Center.

He had a few plays where he crashed down the line when he did not have to.
A few plays where he could have turned his head on a swivel, to see where the qb was, and to avoid people diving into him at the end of plays.
He will learn this.

If he wants to push you, you are probably going backwards.
If he gets his arms on you in pass protection, you might as well strike up a conversation, because you are not going anywhere near the quarterback.

but he should be an answer for 12 years for us and we can use that
