Saquon Barkley was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year.

Barkley bested Baker Mayfield in a fan vote to bring home the prize. The No. 2 overall pick, Barkley racked up 2,028 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns as a rookie despite playing for a middling offense. The AP's Offensive Rookie of the Year award, the one which really matters, will be handed out on Saturday night during the NFL Honors event.

I think it's kinda cool that they are having some fun with it. It would probably be better if they had some sort of charity stakes instead of some bling though. But it's all okay.

agreed. i thought the chain thing was kind of weird. charity donation would have been good.
