Why are we posting silly things. Saban isn't leaving Bama to subject himself to Rodgers' ego needs when he is the boss... at freaking Alabama football.

Drafting is largely random, and Rodgers has a notable injury history and is in his mid 30's now. Rodgers also has an ego the size of the sun, so good luck getting him on board.

Why would Saban do something that can only be a lose-lose for his legacy.

If Saban wins the SB: Rodgers is GOAT

If Saban does dick in GB: It's Saban's fault, he wasted Rodgers; bonus points if you can get the FO involved.

This makes no sense.

and me, and I won't waste downs, especially 2nd downs, by running up the middle. Oh, and I'll be more effective for less money (but I don't come cheap). :suds:

So, are you applying for the new HC opening at LSU? Don't really care about the other stuff, how are you at recruiting QBs? Gotta recruit QBs

Back in the day, I was better at recruiting cheerleaders and I would let them recruit the QB talent. Today, I'm afraid, I'm recruiting their moms or GMs. But I'll do my best with them to get you a good QB!! :suds:

Unless Saban has some long held desire to go back to the NFL and prove that he can be successful at that level too (ala Pete Carroll), he has no reason to leave Alabama.

He's 67 years old. He is likely the highest paid person in the state, has first choice among all of the top recruits every season and he's reaching Bear Bryant status among Bammers.

He's 67 years old and has set himself with a great situation right where he is. Seems to me that if he still had some NFL itch to scratch, he'd have left a few years ago. At his age, I doubt he's looking to start over in the NFL and deal with all that comes with that.

I hear, if he leaves, a deal has been struck with Saban to bring Bear back from the dead so he can coach Bama to 6 more titles.
Can he bring Bear’s record against ND with him?

No, this is a clean slate Bear. He talked to God and got the secret to beating ND.
