I'm not sure what, exactly, the blog that covers the team that can't get out of the second round despite employing one of the best goalscorers in history was trying to get at here but it didn't work.

I'll bet grandpa's prized llama that the Leafs get a goal overturned on replay for offside tomorrow.

Kadri gets 3 games.

And the wheel spins on.

Man, three playoff games is a LOT.

Next time someone gets a mid-ice elbow to the face he better miss a fucking round.

Three games would be fine... IF the NHL was consistent with this. This seems appropriate but not typical for the NHL .

Your move Brad Douchand .

I even think that this is excessive.

2 games at the most

It's fine if it's the new normal (I mean, of course they'd wait for the Leafs to become decent and have a skilled rat on the roster to do so lol) but if I gotta smack my head at some point these playoffs because DOPeS suspend a guy for a game for headhunting I'm done here.

And, considering Wilson got nothing for launching an elbow in a similar fashion with the exception of his victim already being held by a teammate... And he has a history.

Consistency is a dream.

Any word on Johansen for his hit? Even a hearing?

Yeah, fuck this.

Beyond Kadri, how did Doughty get suspended but neither of those two?

Anyway, if the Leafs can win this series despite losing their 2C for 3 games i'll be impressed as hell.

I don't know if I trust Babcock to make the lineup adjustments that could make that happen though, and that scares me both now and in the future.

If Wingels can't go, Ryan Donato draws in for him. So Kadri essentially took himself out of half of the series, and replaced a bum who shouldn't be in the NHL with a kid who could do serious damage in the playoffs.

Let's just get this out of the way quickly:

If there ever was a case of karma though, it was this guy weeks after the marathon bombing. We've moved on. Good luck this series.

Ah, OK. This seems like a good enough description.

"Loosely speaking, a hot take is a published reaction or analysis of a recent news event that, often because of its time-sensitive nature, doesn't offer much in the way of deep reflection."

Where Do 'Hot Takes' Come From?
I thought you said "hot cakes" which now has me hungry. :hungry:
